East Ridge High School
East Ridge High School is one of a trio of “Super Schools” that NCM Constructed between 2006 and 2008. The School, located between Woodbury and Cottage Grove, MN, will opened in 2009. The project contained almost 4,000 cy of concrete in the footings and exposed poured walls that range up to 18’ in height. The foundations had an added dimension of difficulty in that we had to battle colder than normal weather throughout construction. The Masonry Scope included 225,000 grey cmu, 58,000 burnished cmu, and over 210,000 brick. The flatwork spans over 360,000 sf and contains almost 4,000 cys. NCM again proved that we are the premier contractor in the area for large, complex jobs such as these schools. Kraus Anderson Midwest is the construction manager on the project, making this the fourth school project we have worked on with KA in the past three years.
